nostro precedente ( e
molto più costoso)
giradischi Mentor.
Il peso del piatto è ben oltre del doppio di quello dello Spacedeck.
L'assemblaggio è unico in quanto l'olio
This highly innovative design has all the above mentioned improvements but the '294' also has a 14" platter giving much more rotational stability due to the additional inertia. The turntable is specifically for 12" (294mm) tonearms only and cannot be fitted with a second tonearm.Twelve inch tonearms are nothing new for Nottingham Analogue, the longer arm results in a smaller tracking error, and Nottingham has cleverly eliminated the pitfalls of common 12" tonearms. The new Space 294 will get you closer to the illusion of real music than you ever thought possible at a price that will send you record shopping with a smile on your face. Check our dealer links and visit your closest Nottingham dealer to hear this clever, terrific system."Turntables should be seen and not heard. Turntable platforms - nice wooden table or a table with no spikes - we do not want the bottom end filtered away to nothing, we don't want the so called clear sound without musical emotion." - Tom Fletcher."Clicca sull'immagine per ingrandire"
ACE Space Novità!Although the ACE Space turntable looks identical to the Spacedeck, it benefits from very substantial improvements which you will hear straight away. This turntable includes many features from Nottingham's Hyperspace and higher performance tables. The ACE gets the better bearing and oil pumping system of its big brothers. This gives a quieter bearing and thus, critically important, a lower noise floor. The armbase is upgraded from the Spacedeck's aluminum to a heavier lead impregnated steel giving it a heavier mass and thus a better damping platform for the arm. The motor housing of the ACE is also upgraded from aluminum to steel/lead with twice the mass as the old Spacedeck. This better damping means reduced motor resonances. (Weight approx. 35kg.)All in all much better performance for the same price as the old Spacedeck."Clicca sull'immagine per ingrandire" Space Deck

"A few years ago we decided to design a turntable that was a little more affordable - quite a difficult task. We never design to a price, so we had to think long and hard about the least compromising materials to get the marriage between the audio frequencies. To build on a plinth is also very difficult because of the coloration in the plinth itself. For many years the Spacedeck turntable has been our ‘bread and butter’ and a turntable that many people have taken to their hearts. So we use the same Spacedeck bearing in the Interspace. This is made up of Admiralty bronze. A very hard spindle on the outer surface and being relatively soft inside, it has a lower resonance frequency which helps to marry to the plinth. The motor is not free standing but in its own cassette which has a very low resonance and is hand adjustable for height. Also on this turntable is a twin arm facility which is used extensively in the Far East. The platter is made up of a material called HDF. Coupled with the Spacemat, this is quite good material for damping the vinyl record but, being a wood based material, it suffers from lack of inertia. This is fully compensated for by four lead bronze weights let into outer periphery to give a far greater inertia. This can be heard or not heard, as the case may be, in long sustained notes such as piano, violin, voice etc." "Like all our turntables if we put a switch on it and it started to turn we would not want you to buy it, because if the motor started the turntable from a standing start, there would be too much power in the motor when it reached speed. Too much power means resonance; i.e., the record and tonearm vibrates - try writing a letter when the table is moving!" "We think we have succeeded, along with the Interspace arm to make a package that gives you an illusion of music for you to enjoy." "Clicca sull'immagine per ingrandire" Nottingham Interspace Jr. For many companies, the chief delight is in designing and building the very best product that the company can produce. That ethic is alive and well at Nottingham Analogue Studios and has lead to the creation of such benchmark products as the Dais, the Deco and the legendary Anna Log. (A product whose plinth was made from several-hundred-year-old wooden beams!) However, this is not the real passion of Nottingham Analogue Studios. Their real passion lies in the music preserved in the records and the ability to delight users in pursuit of musical enjoyment. This "mission" is pursued passionately, regardless of the investment required of each product’s owner. In other words, getting the best from the least means every bit as much as simply making the best. Enter Interspace Jr., Nottingham’s newest product. Bringing
together design aspects from a number of older products, plus a few new tricks worked out just for Interspace Jr., Nottingham has cracked the $2,000 price bracket for a complete turntable & tonearm package. Interspace Jr. uses the same classic, heavy, alloy platter used on the Space Deck platter, the same bearing as the Space Ship, a simple plinth, a brand new design of motor mounting (to radically minimize the transmission of motor noise) and the classic, already ultra-low-noise, motor that is found on many of Nottingham’s other tables.
The result? Music! More magical and involving than any product in the price range has ever been. We are confident that the Interspace Jr. will delight those who hear it and provide YEARS of enjoyment for those who purchase it. We hope you agree.
